An unfamiliar face I see, the shadow sinks into the essence of me. Clouding the familiarity, a comfort to me. Haunting what is left inside to be. The battle begins without an end, slipping into a dark place with no escape, binding me to this endless place. I skip a beat and confront the beast, haunting what is left inside of me. Pushes me down and then I sink, losing what is left, no time to think. Hiding the shadows I begin to see, a reflection of what I used to be. Now I know the beast was me. Co-writen by: Christina Spiro
